The event is actually a regional initiative to raise Health & Safety standards in addition to enhancing organization’s triple bottom line with Effective FM. A successful event was already held in Barbados and one is scheduled to be held in Grenada on October 1st & 2nd. Also, the event will be in keeping with the Guyana-arm of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) recentcall for local businesses to raise their standards with respect to Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), as a prerequisite for competing and delivering value at an international standard. This plea couldn’t be more opportunefor both the public and private sectors organizations’ as Guyana prepares to welcome “First Oil”.
It is therefore in keeping with this call that SMART FM Consultancy & Management Services in collaboration with Master’s Touch Environmental Service & Cleaning Supplies Inc. a professional eco-friendly company will be hosting this event. The event has also been recognized by the president of AmCham Guyana, who will be doing the opening remarks. This will be a perfect opportunity for your organization to not only build capacity and skills but also to improve operational efficiency and safety standards.
Please note that the presenter for the event is a Certified Facility Manager (CFM), which is the highest certification awarded by the American Certification body of the profession, the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA).
